Participation for all

A place of encounter, education and culture.

Haus pour Bienne

FAIR Pikto OpenHouse
FAIR - Haus pour Bienne 20 e1706283067236

Background

Biel is very diverse. People from 140 different nations live here. For many, however, participation in social and cultural life is difficult. The language course or concert is too expensive or there is a lack of social connections. Moreover, encounters often take place in the same bubble.

Our approach

With Haus pour Bienne, we offer a transcultural, intergenerational and bilingual meeting place in the heart of Biel. A hub for voluntary work. A low-threshold and creative cultural venue as well as inviting and participatory educational programmes.
